Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is Dolly Parton’s latest dinner show attraction in Pigeon Forge, located minutes from Dollywood. As with everything Dolly, the talent is world class, and this show is an extravaganza that will thrill kids and keep the whole family spellbound throughout the performance.
One ticket to the attraction pays for admission to Pirates Village before the show, admission to the Pirates Voyage performance, and a full meal, served during the performance. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon or evening with family and is a special favorite with kids. The venue is adjacent to The Island and with plenty of parking.
The show itself takes place in an indoor arena with an elaborate pirate-themed set, featuring full-sized pirate ships and a pool (sea) in the center. The costumes are vivid and colorful, and the performers act, sing, dance, dive, and perform stunning acrobatics while guests are served a full meal and enjoy the show. All the seats give a good view of the action.
Come Early for the Pre-Show in Pirates Village
Arrive early and check out the Pirates Village souvenir shop or grab a drink or snack. Games are also available, and children can get their faces painted like pirates or mermaids – young kids will love getting this Pirate or Mermaid Makeover. Be prepared for performers to be in character from the moment you pull into the parking lot until the end of your visit.
The staff and performers are very attentive, warm and interactive with the audience, in a good way, which adds to the sense of immersion. Kids may even get an invitation to come down and get closer to the activities – but no one is pushy.
Experience a Mesmerizing Performance
Many people agree on the mesmerizing effect the Pirates Voyage performance has on the audience — especially children, who are often too engrossed in the show to fully keep up with their meals.
The plot centers around Captain Blackbeard and his quartermaster, Calico Jack, who lead the Crimson and Sapphire crews on their high sea adventures. Pirates, mermaids, tropical birds, seals, and other colorful characters make frequent appearances and dazzle the audience. This is a zesty show, and the energy of the performances is stunning.
Enjoy a Full Four-Course Meal
Throughout the performance, guests will enjoy a full four-course meal, served to them individually by servers assigned to each row. Meals are served piecemeal, which allows time in between to watch the countless activities happening at the same time. And you get to eat with a knife and fork!
The Me Hearties Feast includes a standard menu for all guests. However, vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available by request. Just be sure to mention your wish for a special meal when you make your reservation, which can be done online. Servers and staff are happy to answer any questions regarding food ingredients and allergies.
