Venture Resorts 2017 Volunteer Scholarship Program
Venture Resorts is one of the largest vacation rental companies in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We believe volunteer work shapes the character of Americans, giving them a broader worldview and helping them become active members of their community. To reward students who have actively volunteered, and to encourage volunteerism, we are proud to offer our 2017 Volunteer Scholarship Awards.
Scholarship Awards
Two winners will be chosen based on an essay contest.
- 1st place: $2,000
- 2nd place: $1,000
Eligibility
- You must be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in an undergraduate program for the 2017-2018 school year.
- You must have performed at least 10 hours of volunteer work over the past 2 years.
Essay Topic
Explain in 500 – 1,000 words why you chose to volunteer your time with a community organization and how the experience changed your life.
How To Submit Your Entry
Email your essay as a Word or PDF document to [email protected]. Your essay must include your legal name, current mailing address, email and phone number.
Only one entry per student permitted.
Entries containing plagiarized material or off-topic content be disqualified.
Entry Deadline
Entries must be received by April 30, 2017.
