Large Cabin Rentals for Family Reunions, Retreats and Church Groups

Gatlinburg is an ideal location for a family reunion, church retreat or other large group outing. Our area offers a ton of activities and amenities perfect for groups.  We have nature activities in beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP), fun activities in exciting Pigeon Forge, and enough entertainment options that everyone, from young children to grandparents, can find something enjoyable to do.

Inside the national park, groups can enjoy hiking trails that vary in difficulty, from easy walks suitable for children to more challenging hikes for the adventurous. The park’s scenic drives and viewpoints, like Clingmans Dome and Cades Cove, offer stunning vistas perfect for group photos and moments of reflection.

In Pigeon Forge, just a short drive from Gatlinburg, attractions like Dollywood and The Island provide entertainment for all ages. Dollywood, known for its thrilling rides, live music, and Southern charm, is a hit with both adults and children. Meanwhile, The Island offers shopping, dining, and attractions like The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, an impressive Ferris wheel that provides panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Gatlinburg itself is home to unique attractions. The Gatlinburg SkyLift Park offers breathtaking views from its SkyBridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America. The Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and the Gatlinburg Space Needle are other popular attractions that can captivate visitors for hours.

Large Cabins: Ideal Accommodations for Large Groups

Finding suitable accommodations for large groups can be a challenge, but we offer more than 35 cabins for large groups

These cabins range anywhere from 8 bedrooms all the way to 25 bedrooms and can accommodate as many as 74 people in a single cabin.

One of the benefits of large cabins is the space they provide. Unlike cramped hotel rooms, cabins offer multiple sleeping areas, allowing for privacy and comfort. Many cabins feature several bedrooms and bathrooms, making it easy for everyone to have their own space while still enjoying the camaraderie of staying under one roof. This setup is especially beneficial for family reunions, where relatives who haven’t seen each other in a while can reconnect in a cozy, home-like environment.

A fully equipped kitchen is another significant advantage of staying in a large cabin. Preparing meals together can be a bonding experience, and it also offers a practical way to save money. With a large kitchen, groups can easily prepare and share meals, accommodating various dietary preferences and schedules. This is particularly useful for church retreats, where shared meals can become a central part of the experience.

In addition to sleeping and dining areas, many large cabins are equipped with game rooms, home theaters, and outdoor amenities like hot tubs and fire pits. These features provide plenty of entertainment options without even leaving the cabin. Game rooms often include pool tables, foosball, and arcade games, offering fun for all ages. Home theaters provide a perfect setting for movie nights, while hot tubs and fire pits are great for relaxation and socializing under the stars.

About Tony Perez

I'm a people person, and I enjoy the atmosphere that working with Cabins Of The Smoky Mountains entails, interacting with different types of people and trying to relate to each one uniquely. From Michigan originally, I've been coming to the Smoky Mountains since I was a child, with family in Wears Valley. Summer fun for me is exploring the Cades Cove area, swimming in the creeks, and hiking Mount LeConte and many other trails. I love the Smoky Mountains.
