I've worked for Gatlinburg Falls since March 2011. Lived in TN since 1996. I have now hiked Mt. LeConte three times. I've been on every trail that leads to the top. The last one we hiked up the Boulevard. I have walked my first 2.7 miles on the Appalachian Trail. Only 2176 miles to go. I plan to hike the Appalachian Trail when my children graduate. I also love lake kayaking on Cherokee Lake and Douglas Lake. We take our kayaks camping to middle Tennessee as well for river kayaking. I love talking to guests from the places I've visited or lived. Brings back many good memories. I love to be where people are having fun.

Gatlinburg Trolleys: Now Free on Parkway

The free trolley in downtown Gatlinburg, TN, running up and down Parkway This summer in Gatlinburg a great hit is the Free Trolley on Parkway. The City ran a pilot test of this service last summer and it was very popular so it’s back again this year, running through August 18th. (more…)

The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is renowned as one of the finest crafts fairs in the nation. This year again an enormous community of craftspeople from all over the U.S. will gather in the Gatlinburg Convention Center, July 20th thru July 29th, for the 37th Annual Gatlinburg Summer Craftsmen’s Fair. Gatlinburg: 4th of July Midnight Parade 2012

One of over 100 floats in the Gatlinburg 4th of July Midnight Parade Everybody is staying up late tonight as the nation’s first Independence Day Parade starts in Gatlinburg at the stroke of midnight. Since 1976 Gatlinburg has led the nation’s Independence Day celebrations, and tonight’s 37th Annual Gatlinburg Fourth of July Midnight Parade is no exception. (more…)
